           It has been a long journey to create this article. And it will be an even longer journey for you to finish reading it. But if there is one thing I have learnt in life, it is that everything worth doing takes time. So take your time while reading this article because by the end of it all, you will know how to do seo in 2022.

            I have spent 5 years observing the search space and learning from the market leaders. One day, I was planning my wedding anniversary which falls on June 30th(What can I say? My wife loves anniversaries!). By sheer coincidence, Google also announced their second algorithm update of 2015 on that date. For the first time ever, we got a sneak peek into what Google had planned for the next rendition of their algorithm.

       The last time Google updated their algorithm was on May 12 th , 2012 with its first ever Penguin update which took everyone by surprise! So I figure that if there is going to be another update before 2022, it won't be before June 30th, 2017. So this gives us another 16 months to plan our strategy and prepare for the future. And I'm going to explain how to do just that in this guide.

       Our journey will start by taking a look at Google's "Unwritten Rules of SEO" and understanding their evolution over time. From there we will take a deep dive into what Google is looking for in 2018 – 2022 and how you can optimize your website accordingly so as to keep up with Google's ever-changing needs.
